Icelandic Ladies’ Aid, better known as Vonin, will be participating in Christmas in Markerville on November 6-8, 2026. They’ll be selling their delicious Vínarterta and sharing a little history about the group!
You’ll be able to find them in two locations:
• SGSIS Table – Kaffistofa Entrance: Stop by to purchase some Vínarterta and support Vonin. Their cakes will be cut into six pieces for individual sale, making it easy to take home a little taste of Iceland!
• Lutheran Church: Visit their display showcasing Vonin’s history, learn more about the group and its long-standing traditions, and purchase more Vínarterta!
They look forward to sharing a little Icelandic heritage, celebrating Vonin’s history, and, of course, helping everyone take home a little taste of Iceland!
